About Us

Bringing people together for peace, youth leadership and community action

Unite and Inspire Africa is a developing initiative founded by Amb. Sulaiman Fariz Jalloh to promote peace, strengthen youth leadership, and encourage positive community action.

Our initial focus is Sierra Leone, with a long-term vision of connecting people and communities across Africa. We aim to create spaces where people can listen, learn, and work together across differences.

Our Direction

Vision and mission

Our Vision

An Africa where people live together in peace, young people lead with purpose, and communities work together for a better future.

Our Mission

To bring people together across differences, strengthen youth leadership, and support community action through dialogue, peace education, mentorship, and partnerships.

Who we aim to serve

Young people, community leaders, women, and people from different faiths, backgrounds, and abilities.

Our planned areas of work

  • Peace and Dialogue – community conversations, peace education, and respectful engagement across differences.
  • Youth Leadership – mentorship, learning opportunities, and youth participation in community decisions.
  • Community Action – volunteer activities, partnerships, and practical projects shaped by local needs.

Our Philosophy

What we believe

We believe lasting change begins when people feel heard, valued, and included. Every person has dignity, every community has strengths, and young people are partners in building peace.

For us, leadership means service, integrity, and responsibility. We listen before we act, seek understanding across differences, and turn shared ideas into practical action. We measure our work by the trust we build and the positive changes communities experience.

Our Core Values

The principles that guide how we lead, work, and serve

  • PeaceWe promote dialogue, prevent violence, and seek understanding when differences arise.
  • IntegrityWe act honestly, keep our commitments, and make decisions that reflect our purpose.
  • InclusionWe respect every person’s dignity and welcome participation across faiths, backgrounds, genders, and abilities.
  • ServiceWe listen to local needs and work alongside communities to create practical, positive change.
  • AccountabilityWe take responsibility for our actions, use resources carefully, and report openly on our progress and challenges.

Our commitment: to turn these values into everyday action.
